Odborný článek byl publikován v uznávaném mezioborovém časopise Journal of Sport Sciences, vedeném na Web of Science. Publikace vznikla z hlavního výzkumného zaměření autora, a přináší nové poznatky o standardizaci metody měření variability srdeční frekvence, která se velmi dynamicky rozvíjí a slouží nejen jako diagnostický nástroj pro vědecké zkoumání, ale stále více se uplatňuje i v praxi, např. při řízení sportovního tréninku. Časopis Journal of Sport Sciences má stoupající trend impakt faktoru a v roce 2015 je umístěn v prvním kvartále (Q1). V současné době má publikace sedm citačních ohlasů na Web of Science. Publikace byla vybrána za pedagogickou fakultu jako excelentní výsledek do Pilíře 2 RIV.
