• The Ideal Ruler in Medieval Bohemia discusses the development of medieval concepts and ideas about just and unjust rulership in medieval Bohemia. This theme is examined in the context of the European political thinking between 6^th and 14^th centuries. Robert Antonín provides new insights into interpretations of medieval sources of various kinds and asks innovative questions regarding the legitimization of monarchic power, the importance of Saint Wenceslaus, the role of ancient and biblical motifs in the Czech sources, and the influence of chivalric ideals on concepts of power. The theme of the book revolves around medieval perceptions of ideal rulership, which is seen as one of the cultural-anthropological constants shaping the social reality of the contemporary world.

• The critical edition of Master Jan Hus's writing Enarratio Psalmorum. Till now, the text of this Hus's treatise was available only in an old print from the 16th century, thanks to this edition, it is now available for scholarly research. The edition presents a commentary on some psalms, which Hus professed as a bachelor of theology at the Faculty of Theology at the Prague University in the middle of the first decade of the 15^th century. The edition was elaborated according to modern philological textological methods and is published in a prestigious series at a renowned Belgian publishing house (Brepols in Turnhout).

• The book deals with Gerbert of Aurillac (Pope Sylvester II) and his investigations in the field of theoretical (philosophy of numbers) and practical (counting) arithmetic. The book represents the comprehensive inquiry of both these aspects of arithmetic in his thought. The analysed sources are Gerbert’s so-called scientific letters written to his friends, colleagues or pupils, and also including some of his other texts. On this basis, attention is paid to arithmetic as the mother of all sciences and as the path to  wisdom (e.g., the so-called Saltus Gerberti, relation between arithmetic and other disciplines of the quadrivium, etc.) and also to practical arithmetic (e.g., the introduction of Hindu-Arabic numerals and the re-introduction of a new form of abacus to the Latin Christian West).
